Welcome to Ignite Counselling and Coaching. By booking and using my services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging with my services.

1. Services Provided

I offer various services designed to support women in all stages of life, including counselling, coaching, and relaxation massage. My services are tailored to help individuals with emotional well-being, life challenges, stress management, and personal development. I have a particular interest in supporting mums as they navigate the unique challenges that come with motherhood, identity changes, and the demands of family life.

Please Note: I am not a registered psychologist or a medical professional. I do not provide medical diagnoses, psychiatric treatments, or services requiring a Medicare rebate. If you require these services, please contact your GP for a referral.

2. My Qualifications

I am a Diploma-qualified Counsellor with recognized training in Australia. My practice is centered on a person-centered approach, focusing on empathetic listening and providing practical strategies for emotional well-being and personal growth.

Additionally, I am trained to offer relaxation massage services, which are designed to support your overall well-being by helping relieve stress and promote relaxation.

Please Note: While I am a qualified counsellor, my qualifications do not include medical or emergency care. For crisis support, please contact emergency services or your GP.

3. Scope of Work

As a counsellor, I specialise in helping women with a focus on those experiencing significant life changes, including mothers, women in transition, and those struggling with stress management and identity changes. I offer both one-on-one sessions and online consultations for your convenience.

Please Note: My services are not intended as a substitute for medical treatment or emergency services. If you are in immediate distress, please seek urgent support from your GP or contact emergency services.

4. Payment and Fees

I offer competitive pricing for my services to make them accessible: Prices are subject to change and listed in the products and services section of the website.

I accept payments via PayID, bank transfer, and Stripe (credit/debit cards). Payment must be made prior to or at the time of your session unless you have prepaid for a package deal. If you've prepaid for multiple sessions, I will ensure the appropriate sessions are deducted from your package.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

To ensure fairness and availability for all clients, I ask that you notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows me to offer the slot to someone else in need.

Cancellation fees:

- Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the session fee.

- No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full session fee.

If an emergency arises and you are unable to attend, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss rescheduling or an alternative arrangement.

6. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential, and I take your privacy seriously. However, please be aware that in certain circumstances, such as imminent risk to your safety or the safety of others, confidentiality may be broken. If this occurs, I will discuss it with you as soon as possible.

I also take every measure to securely store any personal or session-related information in accordance with privacy regulations.

7. Online Therapy and Services

I offer online sessions for both counselling and coaching through secure, encrypted video platforms. If you are unable to attend in-person sessions, online consultations are available by prior arrangement.

8. Medicare and Health Rebates

As a counsellor, I do not qualify for Medicare rebates or Mental Health Plans. If you require these services, you will need to consult with a psychologist or another eligible mental health professional.

If you are seeking a Medicare rebate or a Mental Health Plan, I recommend discussing this with your GP for a referral to the appropriate professional.

9. What Are Your Working Hours?

My regular hours are:

- Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 2.30 PM

- Evenings & Weekends: By appointment (additional fees may apply for after-hours appointments)

Please contact me directly for flexible hours, including weekend or evening appointments. If your preferred time is outside my standard hours, I will do my best to accommodate you.

10. Do You Only Work with Women?

Yes! While I work with women of all ages and in various life stages, I specialize in supporting mothers through the unique challenges of motherhood, identity shifts, stress management, and creating a work-life balance.

If you’re a mum feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from your true self, or struggling to find balance, I can help you reconnect with your sense of purpose and create a fulfilling life.

11. What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

I accept bank transfers via PayID and Stripe (credit/debit cards). Payments are due before or at the time of your session, except when you have prepaid for a package deal.

12. What Happens if I Don’t Show Up for My Session?

If you miss a session without providing at least 24 hours' notice, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. If you fail to attend without notifying me in advance, the full session fee will apply.

13. Do You Offer Refunds?

Due to the nature of the services, I do not offer refunds for individual sessions. For prepaid packages, sessions are non-refundable. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please refer to the Cancellation Policy for your options.

14. How Do I Contact You?

You can contact me via email [email protected], the contact form on my website, or by phone for any general inquiries. For urgent matters, I will respond as soon as possible within my operating hours.

15. How Do You Handle Complaints?

If you're unhappy with any aspect of the services I provide, I encourage you to reach out directly to discuss your concerns. Your feedback is important to me, and I will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution.

16. Termination of Services

I reserve the right to terminate services if I believe there is a lack of progress, safety concerns, or a mismatch between our working relationship. In such cases, I will provide resources or referrals to support you moving forward.

17. Liability

By using my services, you agree to release Ignite Counselling and Coaching, and myself, Tracey Lindsay, from any liability resulting from the services provided. You understand that therapy, coaching, and relaxation massage involve your active participation, and that no guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes.
