Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Ignite Counselling & Coaching. By booking and using my services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully before engaging with my services.


1. Services Provided

I provide counselling and coaching services designed to support women, with a particular focus on mums navigating the challenges of motherhood, identity shifts, and life balance. My work is centred on emotional well-being, stress management, and personal growth.

Please Note: I am not a registered psychologist or medical professional. I do not provide medical diagnoses, psychiatric treatment, or services requiring a Medicare rebate. If you need these, please consult your GP.


2. Qualifications

I am a diploma-qualified counsellor with recognised training in Australia. My practice uses a person-centred approach, combining empathetic listening with practical strategies to support emotional well-being and growth.

Please Note: While I am a qualified counsellor, I do not provide medical or emergency care. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or your GP.


3. Scope of Work

I specialise in supporting women and mothers through counselling and coaching. Sessions may be delivered in person or online by prior arrangement.

Please Note: My services are not a substitute for medical treatment or emergency services. If you are in immediate distress, please seek urgent support from your GP or contact emergency services.


4. Fees and Payment

Fees are listed under the services section of my website and are subject to change.

Payments can be made via PayID, bank transfer, or Stripe (credit/debit card).

Payment is due before or at the time of session, unless prepaid as part of a package.


5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

To respect everyone’s time, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations within 24 hours → 50% session fee applies.

No-shows without notice → full session fee applies.

In the case of an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss options.


6. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential. Exceptions apply if there is an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, in which case I may need to share information with appropriate services.

All personal information is securely stored in accordance with privacy regulations.


7. Online Sessions

Online counselling and coaching are available using secure, encrypted video platforms.


8. Medicare & Health Rebates

As a counsellor, my services are not eligible for Medicare rebates or Mental Health Plans. If you require these, please seek a referral from your GP.


9. Working Hours

Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Evenings/Weekends: By appointment only (after-hours fees may apply).


10. Clients I Work With

I work primarily with women, with a focus on mothers and women navigating life transitions. If you are unsure whether my services are right for you, please get in touch to discuss your needs.


11. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of my services, refunds are not available for individual sessions. Prepaid packages are also non-refundable. Please refer to the cancellation policy for rescheduling options.


12. Missed Sessions

If you do not attend a booked session without giving notice, the full session fee will apply.


13. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with my services, please contact me directly to discuss your concerns. I value feedback and will work with you to find a resolution.


14. Termination of Services

I may end services if I believe there is a lack of progress, safety concerns, or a mismatch in the working relationship. If this occurs, I will provide referral options where possible.


15. Liability

By engaging with my services, you agree to release Ignite Counselling & Coaching and myself, Tracey Lindsay, from any liability relating to outcomes. Counselling and coaching require your active participation, and while I provide professional support, no specific results are guaranteed.
